I am Steven Chang, founder of Gooliya, with 15+ years of development experience, spanning DevOps, cloud architecture, system integration, and bringing AI into real applications.
I take on projects as an independent consultant. That means everything we discuss is built by me directly. It will not be handed off to a team that does not know your project, and no gap will open up between the plan and what is actually delivered.
The name "Gooliya" comes from the word for "encourage," and it is also the nickname I use for my son. It reflects how I work: positive, careful, and looking after people well. That same attitude goes into your project too. I don't just get it done; I treat your product as if it were my own.
Currently focused on:
A small macOS menu bar app that automatically lists the npm, Vite, Next, and Astro dev servers and Docker containers running on your machine. Open, pin, rename, or stop them with one click. It also changes color to remind you when something has been left running too long. Includes a read-only MCP server, so Claude Code can query it too.
A Taiwan public holiday JSON API built through vibe coding. It covers make-up workdays and the traditional lunar calendar, with bilingual Traditional Chinese and English, and is free to access through the jsDelivr CDN. Zero lines of hand-written code.
Adds per-image caption text to the Filament FileUpload field, with support for sorting multiple images, files with the same name, and JSON storage. Versions are available for Filament 3, 4, and 5.
Combines N8N, RAG, and Google Drive to connect a company knowledge base directly to LINE, automatically answering customer questions.
